Sven Hammond Soul Bel Air Sessions

Hey Folks,

It’s been a while since i’ve updated my site…sorry! So much stuff to keep up to date nowadays; myspace, youtube etc etc.

I’ve been really busy and I’m honoured to anounce that we have a regular session in the famous Bel Air Hotel in The Hague. Every third friday of the month we rock da house with Sven Hammond Soul featuring very special guests.

the 21th of september we had Boris a.k.a. Bo Rush. That was a great session! Check it out right here: the 19th of october was a very special session. Actually it was a full concert of Rose and here band, followed by a spontanious session with Marcus Miller who happened to stay in the hotel that night. Check it right here:

next session will be the 16th of november, featuring Hugh Kanza (Candy Dulfer, Philip Catherine,Jan Akkerman) and Michelle David (Big, Black & Beautiful, Flowriders). These cats are by no doubt some of the best black soul singers we have in Holland and the world. Come check it out, it’s gonna be a blast!

Furthermore I can anounce that we will release an album with recordings of the Bel Air sessions and some new studio recordings beginning of 2008.
